The Wood Dragon

This sculpture was commissioned by the Canberra City Renewal Authority to mark the beginning of the year of the wood dragon. The sculpture was installed in the days before the Lunar New Year festival and was officially unveiled by ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr.

The Dragon sat on it’s plinth on Woolley st, Dickson for the duration of the year of the dragon and has now been relocated to make way for the 2025 wood snake.
